KOLLERU

I am very glad to Beautiful lake of KOLLERU, this is the famous for WORLD visiters.  This is second fresh water lake in the world it is (Kolleru) 14 KM away from ELURU city in ANDHRA PRADES. Many different colourfull world famous Birds will come in winter. Around this lake we have five congregations. In December the birds will be arrived. This bridge where I stand (photo) is the central place of the lake. I request you to come visit this lake in January as well as co-operate my ministry.

This lake is a big freshwater lake of 673Sq.Kmare located in ANDHRA PRADESH. It is situated between Krishna and Godavari rivers, In Krishna and godavari districts it plays an important role in ecological system of the region. It is a natural reservoir of the region. It is a natural reservoir that controls floods in these two rivers. The sanctuary is a habitat for over 50,000 resident and migrated birds which visit from Australia, Siberia, Egypt and philipiens during October to march every year.

The migrated birds which includes open Billstorks, painted Stroks, Black wingedstilts, wingeons, Gadwalls and cormorants, Among others I is reconnected that about 200000.Such birds perch around the lake areadureing the season.

In November 1999, kolleru lake declaird a wild life sanctuary under the Indian wildlife protection act. It was also selected as a wet land of INTERNATIONAL IMPORTANCE. In 2002 this lake is famous for the KOLLERU BIRD SANCTUARY.
